Motörhead Online Casino Game In The Works

Published on

Motörhead fans will be able to “play” their heroes in a different way later this year. Gaming systems developer NetEnt has revealed that it is creating a branded Motörhead edition in its Rock Series of online casino games.

This month, NetEnt will launch the Jimi Hendrix online slot game, the second in the series and the follow-up to the Guns N’ Roses game, already a huge hit with users of online casinos. The Hendrix model will be released on 21 April and is to feature at such premium online casinos as Slots Magic Casino, Casino Adrenaline and Playamo Casino. The Motörhead game is due to go live in September.

hendrixslotaprilAs a taste of what will be in store for Motörhead gamers, Online Casino Reports says that the Hendrix game, seen here, includes many of his best-known songs among its special features. ‘Purple Haze,’ ‘Foxy Lady,’ ‘Crosstown Traffic’ and ‘Little Wing’ are all part of the game, in which, at the appearance of a Purple Haze symbol, the Hendrix image starts shredding his guitar and the player receives three extra wild symbols, leading to other symbols and opportunities to win.

Meanwhile, Motörhead were among a number of British rock staples that were recommended by Lars Ulrich of Metallica for future inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Ulrich inducted Deep Purple at the New York ceremony last Friday (8) and, at a press conference afterwards, offered the view that the Hall of Fame should also welcome Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Uriah Heep and Rainbow.
