Priscilla Block has joined forces with the DJ-producer duo VAVO for the Spring Break ’23 Remixes of some of her best-loved songs to date.
“From Spring Break to Summer, we’re comin’ in hot with four dance remixes to my songs,” says the popular country artist. “These are for your late nights out and long days on the water. Here’s to Block Party summer!”
VAVO comment: “This YEEDM movement has been crazy! We always like to push the boundaries of our work and for us to be collaborating with such an amazing artist like Priscilla on a project like this is very exciting. Can’t wait for these remixes to take over this spring and summer in the bars and on the boats!” The four tracks on the EP are “Just About Over You,” “My Bar,” “Couple Spring Breaks Back,” and “Off The Deep End.”
Also newly-announced is Block’s second ACM nomination for New Female Artist of The Year. The 58th Academy of Country Music Awards will stream live exclusively on Prime Video on May 11 at 8pm ET/5pm PT and will be staged at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The nomination comes in the wake of the release of the deluxe edition of Block’s debut album Welcome to the Block Party.
Block capsule collection with global fashion and lifestyle online retailer Shein was also recently unveiled. Coinciding with festival season, it’s inspired by her personal style and features designs that she’ll be wearing during her upcoming performances at Stagecoach and Hangout Music Fest. The range includes rhinestone fringe, neon colors, and classic denim styles, with a total of 90 pieces available in size XS to 4XL.
All Country News wrote of the deluxe album: “The new songs continue the album’s overarching aspects of ‘sassy, trashy, and sad,’ as Block describes. The project puts her impeccable belt on full display; her one-of-a-kind vocals carry a charged delivery in a truly unique project.”
