Grammy-nominated rapper Quavo has released “Trance,” the latest single from his forthcoming album QRÖMELIFE, executive produced by Pharrell Williams. The song arrives with an official music video co-directed by Daps and Quavo, filmed aboard a yacht in Marbella, Spain. The visual places Quavo’s performance in the same luxury-focused world described in the song.

Built around heavy 808s, bouncy hi-hats and snare-and-clap percussion, “Trance” centers on Quavo watching a dancer on the club floor and inviting her into the world he has built. The track uses his melodic delivery alongside short, direct bars, with the bass and percussion providing its main rhythmic frame. As the scene develops, the dancer becomes the focus of the song’s narrative, moving from a club-floor encounter toward the more lavish setting Quavo describes.

The broader QRÖMELIFE project is described in the release as a record about clarity, confidence and purpose, shaped by perseverance and the experiences that have defined Quavo’s career. Quavo said working with Williams required him to expand his approach: “Working with Pharrell means you need to be versatile — a sound bender, a wave creator and a trend setter. He levels you up.” The release also describes pressure as a force that can sharpen perspective and strengthen a sense of self. The album’s rollout previously included “HAAVIN,” which debuted as the opening soundtrack to Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2027 Men’s Show at Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris.

The new music follows a run of releases and appearances across 2025 and 2026. On May 2, 2025, Quavo released “Dope Boy Phone,” featuring a posthumous verse from Takeoff. On May 8, 2026, he starred as Guy Miller in the street-racing film Takeover, which also featured Takeoff in his final on-screen role. Quavo then performed at Dour Festival in Belgium on July 19, 2026, joining a bill that included Sean Paul, Interpol, Young Miko and Pendulum.
