Perfecth arrives October 30 via Matador Records. Produced by frontman Josh Homme and bandmember Michael Shuman, the nine-song album drew inspiration from kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Sessions took place in transit, with the group recording everywhere from New Orleans to Los Angeles.

“Every song sounds like it’s from a different world,” Homme said. “And that’s on purpose, because it’s trying to stitch together all these emotions revolving around love, lust, foolishness, and the sort of wisdom that comes as a gift from all that.”

The band performed their track “Where the Goth Girls At?” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for its live debut. Earlier singles include “Insignificant Other” and “Easy Street,” featuring Nikki Lane.

To mark Perfecth’s launch, the band will celebrate “HalloQueen.” their own version of Halloween, on October 31. Participating record stores worldwide will sell exclusive merchandise and a limited-edition Perfecth picture disc.

The U.S. dates follow previously announced shows in Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and at three Lollapalooza festivals in Latin America. More headline dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
