‘TSUNAMI’ Brings SOFI TUKKER Together With OneRepublic
The collaboration arrives during SOFI TUKKER’s Animal Talk tour and ahead of Austin City Limits.

SOFI TUKKER described working with Ryan Tedder on the song. “It was awesome to be in the studio with a legendary song writer like Ryan. It was so natural and it came quick and we loved it ever since. It took a bunch of different versions of it and ended up feeling timeless, musical and lush.”
The release arrives during SOFI TUKKER’s Animal Talk headline tour, which is currently underway across North America. The run has already included shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Upcoming dates include Pacha New York in Brooklyn on October 2, before the duo perform on the main stage at Austin City Limits during both weekends of the festival.
“TSUNAMI” follows two other SOFI TUKKER singles released in 2026. The duo teamed with J Balvin on “COOK,” while “Barthelona” arrived after being previewed for months in festival appearances and DJ sets.
SOFI TUKKER are also introducing a design collaboration with Gibson during the Animal Talk tour. The project comprises eight one-of-one custom Flying V guitars created with Sophie Hawley-Weld and unveiled individually throughout the run. The Flying V has long been part of Hawley-Weld’s onstage setup. A selection of the instruments is due to be auctioned after the tour in support of Gibson Gives, which funds music education and wellness initiatives. The duo are also featured in Champion’s global FW26 “True Champion” campaign.
