The Struts Announce ‘Body Talks’ Headlining North American Tour
The flamboyant four-piece take their act to North America.
The Struts made a name for themselves opening for the biggest names in rock – The Rolling Stones, The Killers and Foo Fighters – now the UK glam-rockers set out on a headline tour of their own, coming to North America with their Body Talks Tour this fall.
After releasing their breakout release in 2016, Everybody Wants, The Struts have been touring non-stop, playing festivals and supporting slots for The Who, Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe and The Killers and are considered one of the most exciting acts in rock today. In a recent interview with Radio X in the UK, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl called them “the best opening band we’ve ever had”.
Named after their latest single, the Body Talks Tour will make its first stop on 21 September at St Andrew’s in Detroit before heading up and down the Eastern Seaboard with stops in Toronto, New York, Atlanta and more before heading west. They’ll be joined by supporting acts White Reaper, Spirit Animal and Thunderp__y on various dates.
‘Body Talks’ is the first single off the band’s forthcoming LP, the highly anticipated follow-up to their debut. Struts frontman Luke Spiller described the new single as “a fully charged blues dance rock anthem that will have you moving across the room and straight onto the dance floor”, upon release.
Formed in Derby, England in 2012, The Struts line-up consists of Luke Spiller (lead singer), Adam Slack (guitar), Jed Elliott (bass) and Gethin Davies (drums).
