Will Swinton has released his new single “You’ll Always Be Mine” through 10K Projects and Capitol Records. The New Zealand artist’s latest track arrives days after he and his band completed a headlining North American tour, and follows his U.S. festival debut at Lollapalooza, where he performed the song before its release.

“You’ll Always Be Mine” reunites Swinton with frequent collaborators Paul Phamous and Ethan Schneiderman. The track begins with guitar and restrained vocals before moving into a driving four-on-the-floor rhythm and bass-led arrangement. Lyrically, it centers on recognizing that a relationship is ending while still struggling to let go. During his Lollapalooza appearance, Swinton also recorded a rehearsal performance of his earlier song “Slowly.”

The single continues a run of 2026 releases from Swinton. In July, he issued “Hate My Guts,” following May’s “Only One” and the February tracks “Better Off” and “Find a Way.” Those songs followed his December EP. Swinton said in a recent Behind the Blinds feature that he spent 2025 “finding a sound that I love” before releasing the newer material.

Swinton’s 2026 live schedule has also included a support appearance for The Kid Laroi at the Australian Open and arena dates opening the Australian leg of mgk’s lost americana tour. During that run, Swinton joined mgk onstage for “papercuts.” This summer, he also made his Paris Fashion Week runway debut walking for 424 and later performed at the opening party for James Perse’s new flagship store in Paris.

The new single follows several other high-profile appearances over the past year. Kelly Clarkson covered Swinton’s “Flames” for a Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and Swinton joined Myles Smith onstage in Auckland for a performance of “Stargazing” after opening Smith’s show. Swinton is also featured in the Summer ’26 issue of Wonderland Magazine, guest edited by Miley Cyrus.
