The 1975 Announce UK, Irish Dates For February, March 2020
The band’s much-anticipated fourth album, ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’, is also set for release on 21 February 2020.
The 1975 have announced a series UK and Irish shows for 2020 in support of their new album, Notes On A Conditional Form, which is set for release on 21 February 2020.
As the Manchester band prepare to unveil fourth album they’ll hit the road with a London show (February 21) coinciding with the record’s release day.
The band will be announcing European shows shortly. Full details of the UK and Irish dates are listed below. There will be a pre-sale on Wednesday, 18 September, while tickets for the shows will be on general sale on Friday, 20 September. Visit the band’s official website for further details.
Notes On A Conditional Form is the much-anticipated follow-up to last year’s A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. Of the new record, The 1975’s Matty Healy told NME, “I’ve realised it’s never going to be a continuation or an association with A Brief Inquiry. It’s a completely different record. Six months now is the same as what three years was before. Think about the amount of s_t that happens in six months’ time. [Notes On A Conditional Form] will be a different thing and a different time.”
Elsewhere in 1975 news, the fast-rising UK stars also recently announced that they will be headlining the Saturday night of Pitchfork Music Festival Paris 2019. They join Skepta and Chromatics as festival headliners. The festival takes place from 31 October to 2 November at La Grande Halle de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, the home of Pitchfork Paris since 2011. Other acts performing include Belle and Sebastian, Charli XCX, Jamila Woods, Primal Scream, Chai, Sheer Mag, and a 2manydjs DJ set.
