Freddie Mercury’s Official 74th Birthday Party To Take Place In Montreux In 2020
Tickets for the event are now available and they include entry, food, a welcome drink and live entertainment.
Queen fans are set to celebrate Freddie Mercury’s official 74th birthday party in 2020 under the banner of ‘The Great Pretender’, while the party’s colour theme will be Pink and Black. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 5 September at the Casino Barriere in Montreux, Switzerland.
Live Entertainment will come from Bulsara and His Queenies, who are back by popular demand for a 3rd year running and promising yet another unique one-off performance that will see them delve into Mercury’s solo catalogue. There will also be a Live DJ set throughout the evening, plus lots more which is set to be announced soon

They are strictly limited and include entry, food, a welcome drink and live entertainment. The Casino Barriere in Montreux is also the home of The Queen Studio Experience exhibit and Mountain Studio’s mixing desk.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, the new box set of Freddie Mercury’s solo recordings, Never Boring was released on 11 October by Hollywood Records in North America and Mercury Records in the rest of the world.
The box includes three CDs containing a total of 32 tracks, a Blu-ray and DVD with 13 promo videos and an interview remade in high definition, plus a 120-page, 10”x10” hardback book packed with images, many of which are rare and unpublished.
Never Boring also contains thoughts and quotes from Mercury himself, and has an introduction by Rami Malek, whose portrayal of the entertainer in Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation’s smash hit movie Bohemian Rhapsody won him an Oscar. A double-sided poster with an image of Mercury and an original work from synesthetic artist Jack Coulter, inspired by his song ‘Mr Bad Guy,’ are also part of the new package.
