Lionel Richie Confirmed For 2020 Nocturne Live At Blenheim Palace

Tears For Fears, Lauryn Hill, Gladys Knight and Kylie Minogue headlined the 2019 series at the legendary venue.

Pop superstar Lionel Richie is the first artist confirmed for next year’s Nocturne Live concert series, which returns to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire from 18 to 21 June 2020.

The Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy-winning singer, famed for a vast array of huge international hits including ‘Endless Love’, ‘Lady’, ‘All Night Long’, ‘Stuck on You’, ‘Hello’, ‘Say You, Say Me’ and ‘Dancing On The Ceiling’, will bring his inimitable live show to the 10,000-capacity Great Court at Blenheim Palace on Saturday June 20th 2020. More names for the 2020 series will be announced in due course.

Tickets for Lionel Richie at Blenheim Palace start at £45 and go on sale at 9am on Friday 15 November. For further information, please visit the Nocturne Live official website.

Lionel Richie says, “I’m really looking forward to heading back to the UK and Europe next summer, the crowds are some of the best in the world and I can’t wait to get back over there to see you all!”

Nocturne Director Ciro Romano added, “Improving on last year’s event was never going to be easy but we feel like we’ve taken a big step towards achieving that by confirming Lionel Richie as our first headliner for 2020. He’s a bona fide music legend and having him perform his huge catalogue of much-loved songs at Blenheim Palace is going to be a really special occasion.”

The Nocturne Live concert series, which since its inception in 2015 has featured performances from the likes of Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Gary Barlow, Nile Rodgers, Noel Gallagher, Gregory Porter, Van Morrison, Elvis Costello and Ennio Morricone amongst others.

This year, legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Gladys Knight, Tears For Fears, Lauryn Hill and Kylie Minogue headlined the Nocturne Live concert series, which took place at Blenheim Palace from 20-23 June 2019.
