Scorpions Celebrate 60 Years With ‘Coming Home Live’ Concert Album
The band will record a sold out July 5 gig in their hometown of Hanover.

Scorpions are set to celebrate their 60th anniversary in epic fashion, releasing a concert album recorded live in Hanover.
The album, titled Coming Home Live, is available for pre-order, and will be a live recording of their concert on July 5. The band will run through their greatest hits under the motto “Coming Home,” and will be joined by special guests Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, and more. The Hanover gig is a special homecoming for the band, who began their journey 60 years ago in the German city.
The live recording of this monumental sold-out show will be available as a live album, a gift for the 45,000 fans who get to experience this historical moment in person and for all the fans all over the world who want to celebrate with the band and relive their own memories from the last six decades. Vinyl editions of the album will feature a cover of a scorpion traversing a futuristic, otherworldly desert landscape.
In honor of the their 60th anniversary, Scorpions have spent a healthy portion of 2025 touring Latin America and Europe. The band’s run on their home continent wraps up with a July 26 gig at the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival in Monaco. From there, they’ll perform five shows at PH Live at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. After those gigs, they’ll perform at Zimbru Stadium in Chișinău, Moldova on September 9 before wrapping up the 60th anniversary tour at Romexpo in Bucharest, Romania on September 11.
Scorpions’ most recent album, Rock Believer, was released in February 2022. The album was recorded primarily at Peppermint Park Studios in Hannover, Germany and was mixed at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, Germany with engineer Michael Ilbert.
