Connie Francis Releases ‘Pretty Little Baby’ Remix And 7-Inch Vinyl
The pop singer’s 1962 single became a viral phenomenon on TikTok.

As Connie Francis’ sleeper hit “Pretty Little Baby” continues to take over TikTok, the pop singer builds on the momentum with a new remix and vinyl release.
The remix (released on July 3) was revamped by Mary Droppinz and MYTHM. The electronic artists spin the cutesy ‘60s tune into a rave-ready banger filled with intense bass drops. Along with the remix, “Pretty Little Baby” will also be released on a vintage-style, baby pink 7″ single backed with “Who’s Sorry Now”—Francis’ cover of the 1923 song written by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby. Her 1958 version became her first solo debut hit, which reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
“Pretty Little Baby,” a deep cut from Francis’ 1962 album Connie Francis Sings Second Hand Love & Other Hits, was given a second life this year thanks to TikTok. It became a viral phenomenon on the social media platform, appearing in millions of accounts, including celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.
Francis joined TikTok in June in celebration of the song, which now has more than 27 billion views. The retired singer, now 87 years old, posted a video with the caption: “My thanks to you all for the huge reception you have given to ‘Pretty Little Baby’. I am delighted to join the TikTok Community and share this moment with you.”
In the video, she says, “I’m flabbergasted and excited about the huge buzz my 1962 recording of ‘Pretty Little Baby’ is making all over the world. To think that a song I recorded 63 years ago is captivating new generations and audiences is truly overwhelming for me. Thank you, TikTok.”
Francis is also known for chart-topping hits like “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool” (the 1960 single made her the first woman to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100), “My Heart Has A Mind Of Its Own” and “Don’t Break The Heart That Loves You.”
