Shania Twain Donated $25,000 To Every City She Visited On Summer Tour
The Shania Twain Foundation aims to help combat food insecurity across the country.
After wrapping up her monumental summer tour, Shania Twain and her Foundation announced that they donated $25,000 to food banks in each city she stopped in during the run.
Regarding the mission, Twain said: “It was so wonderful meeting the people behind these amazing charities. Together, we can give food security to families in need. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
Upon receiving the donation, Gayle Carlson of the Montana Food Band Network spoke to the power of mutual aid, having said, “This gift will help us provide at least 100,000 meals to our network of 330 partners. Our thanks and appreciation for Ms. Twain’s dedication to supporting communities across the U.S.”
Susan King of Feeding Northeast Florida added, “Your support will provide 150,000 meals to those in need. This is truly impactful as we face rising demand.”

Twain played seven gigs across North America this July and August, which began on July 19 in Buffalo at Darien Lake Amphitheater. She also performed in Saratoga Springs, Bangor, Gilford, Hershey, and Jacksonville before she concluded the run on August 1 in Hollywood, FL at Hard Rock Live.
With Twain’s 60th birthday arriving on Thursday, August 28, the singer has invited her fans to donate to the Shania Twain Foundation, which aims to eliminate food insecurity, empower the youth, and support mental well-being.
