Parker McCollum Releases Acoustic Album ‘Live From Sound City’
The 15-track collection arrives ahead of his first UK and Ireland visit with Cody Johnson.
Parker McCollum has released Live From Sound City, an acoustic album revisiting 15 songs from his catalog. Released through MCA, the collection includes new acoustic versions of his No. 1 country hits “To Be Loved By You” and “Handle On You,” alongside material spanning his earlier work and recent self-titled album.
The tracklist opens with “One Less Mouth” and “Far, Far Away,” and also includes “’Til the End,” “Solid Country Gold,” “Things Are Looking Up,” and “Diamonds and Gasoline.” Other selections include “Hope That I’m Enough,” “Better Alone,” “Kill Me Now,” “Ellis Unit One,” and “Jet Plane to GA.” The closing stretch pairs “Permanent Headphones,” a song McCollum wrote at 15 and later revisited on PARKER MCCOLLUM, with “South of the City Lights.”
The acoustic release follows PARKER MCCOLLUM, his 14-track collection produced by Frank Liddell and Eric Masse and recorded at Power Station in New York City. That album features Cody Johnson on a version of Danny O’Keefe’s “Good Time Charlie’s Got the Blues.” Its deluxe edition adds four songs: “Montgomery County,” “The One Before The One,” “Wind My Friend,” and “Big Ole Fancy House.” McCollum is also a 2026 CMA Award nominee for Album of the Year, following an ACM win in that category for the self-titled record.
Later this month, McCollum will make his first visit to the UK and Ireland as direct support for Johnson. The itinerary includes AO Arena, The O2, Utilita Arena, OVO Hydro, SSE Arena Belfast, and 3Arena. In December, he will reunite with Koe Wetzel for their co-headlining Naughty or Nice Tour, returning after a seven-year hiatus. All six dates sold out within hours of tickets going on sale. The run begins December 2 at Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, Texas, followed by stops in Houston, Corpus Christi, and Round Rock. It concludes with December 9 and 10 shows at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. Jackson Wendell and Logan Jahnke are the special guests.
