In case you missed it, it was the Oscars last night. On the music side of things Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez won the Best Original Song prize for their track ‘Let It Go’ from the icy Disney animation ‘Frozen’, while Steven Price got Best Original Score for composing the music to ‘Gravity’.

Other notable nominees who didn’t win a gong were Pharrell Williams’  ‘Happy’ from the film ‘Despicable Me 2′, Karen O’s ‘‘The Moon Song’ and U2‘s ‘No Ordinary Love’  all nominated for Best Oiginal Song. Singer-songwriter Owen Pallett and Arcade Fire’s Win Butler were nominated in the ‘Best Original Score’ category.
