The unabridged version of the no-holds-barred look at the Crue’s career will be released through Harper Audio and Dey Street Books on 25 June.
Also out today is the 18-song soundtrack album, mastered by Grammy winner Dave Donnelly, which features a collection of Mötley Crüe classics.
The soundtrack will officially launch on 22 March, the same day 'The Dirt' comes to Netflix.
The film, which is based on the no-holds-barred 2001 autobiography of the same name, has been in the works since 2006.
