Subtitled ‘Rock Heroes’, the second day of Apple Music’s new ‘Best Seat In The House’ concert series livestreams today, Sunday, 24 May, and features vintage concerts from Pearl Jam, Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Nine Inch Nails, U2 and Nirvana.
Across 23 to 25 May, ‘Best Seat In The House’ is providing a front-row seat to 20 iconic past concert performances by some of music’s biggest artists – also including Queen, The Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga – as they offer three full days of crowd-pleasing entertainment without the crowds.
As part of the ‘At Home With Apple Music’ initiative, fans can kick-off the summer by checking out classic headlining performances. Saturday boasted some of pop music’s biggest chart-toppers – ‘Pop’s Biggest Hitters’ – from Lady Gaga and One Republic to Lil Wayne and J Balvin, unloading hit after hit. Sunday, meanwhile, is all about ‘rock heroes’ Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails and U2 and Metallica showing how it’s done. And Monday caps off with live sets from the most legendary names in music history, including Queen, the Stones and Springsteen.
For each concert performance, Apple Music will feature a unique ‘Best Seat in the House’ playlist showcasing the studio versions of the songs featured from each event.
