Rising singer-songwriter Ebony Riley has shared a cinematic new video for her song “Sick Of Me,” the opening track of her debut album Beautiful Tragedy.

Directed by Siwoo, the video features a card game in which Riley plays against different versions of herself as the lyrics ask the question: “Am I my own worst enemy?” “Sick Of Me” is the latest track from the LP to receive a video treatment, following the Rodney Jerkins-produced “Honest.”

Speaking to Rated RnB, the Detroit-born singer shared the inspiration behind the song: “I was stuck in this angry, grieving phase of the relationships that I was having to let go of and the stuff I was dealing with with people. Eventually, it was like, ‘There’s a pattern here. There’s still some brokenness in you that’s attracting these people and allowing them to think they can play with you like this. Get it together.’”

Dedicated to her late mother, Beautiful Tragedy sees Riley turn life-changing experiences into an album about growth, self-worth, and learning to put herself first. “I had to be more intentional about speaking life into myself,” she previously shared.

Riley began her career as a model, walking the runway for names including Marc Jacobs, Balmain, and Oscar de la Renta. Her first release as a musician was 2023’s Ebony EP. On Beautiful Tragedy she worked with some of R&B’s most celebrated names, including executive producer Larrance “Rance” Dopson, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, James Fauntleroy, Tommy “TBHits” Brown, and Harmony Samuels.

The album was released in April 2026 led by the single “Only You,” which reached No. 15 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. The 13-track record also features songs including “Honest,” “Otherside,” and “Bloom.” “This ain’t just a bunch of songs I felt were hits,” Riley shared on Instagram. “This is me finding my voice through hurt and shedding the versions of myself I felt I needed to be.”
