Iconic Welsh singer Tom Jones, chart-topping Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé, multi-million-selling former Oasis star Noel Gallagher, ‘90s pop sensations Steps and superstar classical crossover group Il Divo are among the big names confirmed for the 2018 Greenwich Music Time Concerts.
The acclaimed concert series returns this summer for its 5th edition and again takes place at the world heritage-listed Old Royal Naval College. Transforming The Old Royal Naval College’s riverside location into the ultimate open-air venue, Greenwich Music Time has hosted concerts from the likes of Ray Davies, George Benson, Little Mix, Michael Ball & Alfie Boe, The Jacksons, Goldfrapp, Jools Holland, Jamie Cullum and many more since its inception in 2013.
Providing music fans with the opportunity to experience a variety of outdoor concerts against the backdrop of Greenwich’s historic landscape, the event has proved hugely popular and has become a permanent fixture on London’s live music calendar.
Emeli Sandé says of the event: “I’m thrilled to be returning to London to play a show at the Greenwich Music Time concert series this summer. The Old Royal Naval College is such a beautiful location for a concert and it’s a real treat to be performing on the line-up alongside all of these incredible acts. I’ll be performing music from across my career, as well as some new songs and a few surprises, and I’m sure it’ll be a really special occasion.”
Tickets for Emeli Sandé and Tom Jones go on sale this Friday March 2nd at 9am. All other shows are on sale now and available from the Greenwich Music Website.
