Isabel Dumaa Announces ‘Reverie’ EP for October 23 Release
New single ‘James Dean’ arrives September 25 ahead of three fall shows in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Isabel Dumaa has announced her new EP, Reverie, due October 23 via Lucille Records/Republic Records. The project follows recent singles “All American” and “You Don’t Know Me,” with another track, “James Dean,” set for release on Friday, September 25.
For her major-label debut, Dumaa worked with producers Sammy Witte, whose credits include Harry Styles; Dave Cobb, known for work with Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile; and Joshua Murty, who has worked with Jonas Brothers. Rob Moose, whose credits include Lana Del Rey and Bon Iver, contributed instrumentation and arrangements. According to the release, “All American” has helped drive Dumaa to her biggest streaming month to date, with her monthly peak more than doubling to over 400,000.
Across Reverie, Dumaa focuses on young love, heartbreak and the uncertainty of entering adulthood. She described the songs as a way of staying open to difficult feelings rather than avoiding them. “These are uncomfortable emotions…but I do want to feel them because that’s a part of living,” she said. “I’m not in high school; I’m not in college. But I am still just a young woman encountering the world. And I think that I’m continuing to learn that.” She will mark the EP’s release with fall shows at New York’s Mercury Lounge on October 28, Chicago’s Beat Kitchen on November 4 and Los Angeles’ Masonic Lodge on November 11. Tickets go on sale September 25.
Dumaa released her debut EP, Just My Nature, in 2024, featuring “Quarter Life Crisis” and “C’est La Vie.” She later toured Europe in support of Mark Ambor across 12 cities, then opened for Benson Boone and Teddy Swims in 2025 and made her festival debut at Milwaukee’s SummerFest. Earlier this year, she opened the first six nights of Sam Smith’s residency at San Francisco’s refurbished Castro Theater. Now based in Los Angeles, her cover of Rose Betts’ “Irish Eyes” has drawn more than 10 million views on TikTok, while “Quarter Life Crisis” has passed 3 million Spotify streams.
