Watch Metallica Play Americana-Flavoured Acoustic Version Of Their Classic Track ‘The Four Horsemen’
This rare version of the band’s legendary 1983 track features on the new album ‘Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic At The Masonic’.
Metallica have shared a video of them performing a rare, Americana-flavoured acoustic version of their classic track ‘The Four Horsemen’, originally recorded for 1983’s Kill ‘Em All.

It’s the latest material taken from the band’s upcoming album Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic At The Masonic, which was recorded in early November, with the event organised in aid of their All Within My Hands Foundation.
On the same night that the metal titans played the San Francisco venue, they held an auction to raise money for the charity and raised $1.3 million. That money will be split between Feeding America and the American Association of Community Colleges.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic At The Masonic will be released on 1 February on limited edition 140g coloured vinyl through independent record stores and via streaming and digital platforms. Proceeds from sales will also go towards the band’s charity.
Metallica will return to the UK and Europe on the next leg of their WorldWired tour from May. They play the following shows:
