R&B Hall of Fame To Induct Prince, Domino, Supremes, More

The fourth annual induction ceremony for the Official Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame will take place this coming Sunday (21) in Dearborn, Michigan, hosted by Mary Wilson of the Supremes. Among the great names to be inducted at the 2016 event are Fats Domino, Sam & Dave, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Floyd, Prince, Dionne Warwick, Smokey Robinson and the Supremes themselves.

Floyd and Warwick will also be one of the artists performing live at the ceremony, at the Ford Performing Arts Theatre, along with fellow inductee Eddie Holman and R&B group the Dramatics.

This year’s inductees and their categories are:

Fats Domino (Music Legend)
Jimi Hendrix (Music Legend)
Cathy Hughes (Radio and TV entrepreneur, founder of TV One)
Dionne Warwick (Music Legend)

Sam & Dave (Music Legend)
Eddie Holman (Music Legend)
Eddie Floyd (Music Legend)
Bettye LaVette (Music Legend)
The Velvelettes (Motown Legends)
The Supremes (Motown Legends)
