Rossi. Releases New Single ‘Misery’ Via HOME//GRXWN.
The track draws on the 1990 film ‘Misery’ and features Rossi.’s own vocals.
Rossi. released his new single “Misery” on September 4 via his HOME//GRXWN. imprint on Chaos. The London house producer wrote the track after watching the 1990 psychological thriller Misery, using the film’s imagery and story as the basis for lyrics about being “trapped in misery.”

The track pairs a low-slung bassline with stripped-back percussion and Rossi.’s own vocal, which brings an electroclash influence into the production. Rossi. wrote and performed all of the lyrics himself, and said the film also shaped the darker tone of the record. “I’ve always been obsessed with films and so I thought it would be a cool way to crossover the story of a film in a song that I make,” he said. He added that the bass suited the movie’s “freaky & weird” story and gave him room to work with a different emotional palette from his recent releases.
“Misery” follows a run of releases and live dates for Rossi. in 2026. In July, he teamed with BRIT Award-nominated songwriter bbyclose on “On Your Mind,” a collaboration that had circulated online among fans after appearing in Rossi.’s Boiler Room set. The track was later named Hottest Record by Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1. Rossi. has also appeared this year at Coachella, Circoloco, Space Miami, Factory Town, Parklife and Higher Love, as well as playing a sold-out London show at KOKO.
The new single also extends Rossi.’s work through HOME//GRXWN., his own imprint. His catalogue includes “High On Me,” a collaboration with Jazzy that earned UK Gold certification.
