Snow Patrol and OneRepublic are set to star in the second instalment of Universal Music Group and NBC Universal’s new music documentary series Once In A Lifetime Sessions, which is now streaming on Netflix US. You can check out a taster from the Snow Patrol special below.
Once In A Lifetime Sessions is an original and unique music documentary series giving viewers the chance to get up close and personal with a specially chosen selection of today’s most celebrated music icons. Part One of the first season debuted on Netflix in September, featuring TLC, Moby, Noel Gallagher and Nile Rodgers, with the second part coming to the streaming service with OneRepublic, Snow Patrol, Kasabian and George Ezra on 15 December.
Filmed on location at some of the greatest studios around the world, Once In A Lifetime Sessions highlight the craftsmanship, artistic depth, incredible skill and talent of the artists whilst also showcasing their catalogue. Each episode is dedicated to a single artist or group and features both an intimate live performance and a vinyl recording session. These are woven together with exclusive interview footage and a masterclass exploring the stories behind some of the most memorable songs of all time.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Snow Patrol are also set to return to the road next spring for a full-scale headlining tour of North America.
The Northern Irish outfit will kick off their 21-date North American jaunt with an 18 April 2019 show at South Side Ballroom in Dallas, TX, followed by stops in Austin, Nashville, Boston, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles and more.
2019 is already looking like a memorable year for Snow Patrol, who are already locked in for six international festivals in the early stages of 2019, including Lollapalooza dates in Chile, Argentina and Brazil, and a 24-date headlining European tour which kicked off on Wednesday, 5 December, at Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England.
