Taylor Swift surprised and thrilled her fans this morning by announcing that she is releasing the concert film from her Reputation Tour on Netflix at 12:01 a.m. PST on New Year’s Eve, 31 December “I finally get to show you something we’ve been working on for a while… the trailer for the Reputation Stadium Tour!” Swift wrote alongside the minute-long teaser official trailer which you can see above.

The clip opens with dramatic black and white footage of Swift greeting fans and then shifts into a quick cut of scenes from the stadium dates, cued to ‘…Ready For It?’

“You made this tour so insanely fun for all of us on stage, and I’m really excited that we will have this memento of the memories we all made together this year,” she continued. “I also got to share the stage with such wildly talented people @camila_cabello, @charli_xcx, my band and dancers who shine so brightly in this film. You’re the best. Thank you for everything.”

The final worldwide tally for the Reputation Stadium Tour, according to Billboard Boxscore, was $345.7 million, a 38% jump from the 2015 figures for her 1989 World Tour, which grossed $250.7 million. The 60,000-person show includes pyrotechnics, fireworks, multiple stages and a 63-foot cobra named Karyn.

Elsewhere in Taylor Swift news, as uDiscover Music previously reported, the singer recently signed a new contract with Universal Music Group.

Sir Lucian Grainge, Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group, said, “Few artists in history approach Taylor Swift’s combination of massive global hits and creative brilliance. She is so multi-talented, she can achieve anything.

“I have such enormous respect for Taylor, in particular for her use of her hard-earned influence to promote positive change. Because of her commitment to her fellow artists, not only did she want to partner with a company that understood her creative vision and had the resources and expertise to execute globally on her behalf, she also sought a partner whose approach to artists was aligned with hers.

Earlier this month, Swift made a surprise appearance at Jack Antonoff’s annual Ally Coalition benefit concert. She performed ‘Delicate’ with Hayley Kiyoko.
