TRÍADA has released “Voy A Dejar de Venir,” the latest single from its forthcoming debut album, Exuvia. The Argentine trio will release the album October 23 through Verve / Mercury Records. The new song pairs acoustic guitar with vocals to tell a story of leaving a relationship behind, and an accompanying lyric video is also available.

The band describes the track as one of the album’s sadder songs, with its minimal arrangement reflecting the lyrics’ farewell. Exuvia was made alongside producer Didi Gutman, whose credits include Brazilian Girls, Nathy Peluso, and Siddharta. The album explores personal growth through a mix of bossa nova, candombe, tango, and chacarera, alongside acoustic singer-songwriter and indie influences. The members resist settling on a single style: “We get dizzy with genres.”

The single follows earlier previews of the album, including the percussion-led “Clara” and a version of Spanish rapper C. Tangana’s “Un Veneno.” For the latter, TRÍADA used a milonga rhythm on guitar that echoes tango, adapting the song’s account of unrequited love. Those releases introduced material from Exuvia over the summer.

Based in Buenos Aires, TRÍADA consists of Diamela Spina on percussion and vocals, Aylen Reynoso on guitar, and Julia Percowicz on vocals. The three began making music together at their performing arts high school, filming cover performances after class. Their repertoire included João Gilberto’s “O Pato,” which eventually became their first official release. The band’s name refers to a triad, the musical term for three notes that form a chord.

TRÍADA will mark the album’s release with performances in the United Kingdom and Spain later this year. The scheduled appearances include the Barcelona Jazz Festival and a November 18 performance at the London Jazz Festival supporting Charlotte Dos Santos.
