Lewis Capaldi has unveiled the video for new single ‘Bruises’, taken from his new ‘Bruises’ EP and No.1 platinum album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent – out now on Virgin EMI. You can check it out below.
Directed by British creative Emil Nava (Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, Pharrell, Rihanna), the theatrical elements build alongside the depth of the track, eventually exploding into a riot.
‘Bruises’ is proving to be yet another massive hit for Capaldi, which is connecting on a global scale and looking set to be another Top 10, following in the footsteps of previous tracks ‘Someone You Loved’, ‘Grace’ & ‘Hold Me While You Wait’. It’s already achieved platinum status off the back of its explosive streaming numbers alone, before its official release.
2019 has propelled Lewis Capaldi to superstar status. With his debut album spending six weeks in total at No.1, it was certified platinum in just 10 weeks and is currently the second highest-selling album of the year, hot on the tails of The Greatest Showman OST. On 27 September, Capaldi’s ‘Bruises’ EP was issued through digital platforms. The EP includes the original version of the song, a special orchestral version, an acoustic version of the song and a remix by Steve Void.
