Fast-rising star Post Malone unveiled his inaugural Posty Fest in Dallas, Texas, last year, where he performed alongside headliners Travis Scott, Tyler the Creator, and many others. Now, the rapper is set to host the event for a second time.

Malone took to Instagram on Friday, 12 July, to announce that a second Posty Fest is coming on 2 November. The announcement video features the same animated devil mascot as last year, shaking his head faster and faster until a black screen reads, “He’s back.”

The inaugural Posty Fest took place at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, TX on 28 October last year. At the time of writing, however, the rapper has shared no further details of the event’s proposed second coming.

Earlier this month, Post Malone released a new track, ‘Goodbyes’ featuring Young Thug. The song came accompanied with a striking, zombie-themed video featuring Kathryn Newton from Big Little Lies.

‘Goodbyes’ is Malone’s the first official collaboration with Atlanta superstar Young Thug. For production on the track, Malone also joined forces with frequent collaborator Louis Bell and also welcomed Brian Lee [Camila Cabello, Justin Bieber] into the fold as a producer. The union of Post and Bell has historically led to a string of multi-platinum smashes, including ‘rockstar’ [feat. 21 Savage], ‘Better Now,’ ‘Psycho’ [feat. Ty Dolla $ign], and many more.

As Post Malone headlines festivals around the world, 2019 has already been packed with one milestone and achievement after another. ‘Congratulations’ has recently been certified Diamond by the RIAA, while the artist’s second full-length release, Beerbongs & Bentleys, emerged on the Mid-Year Top 10 Albums (Based on Overall Equivalent Album Units).

His RIAA Platinum certified debut album, Stoney, led the genre-bending Dallas, TX artist to his first Top 10 Billboard 200 and first No. 1 R&B/Hip-Hop Album while being the No. 1 Debut Hip-Hop Artist of 2016. In 2018, Beerbongs & Bentleys, debuted on the Billboard Top 200 at No. 1 and achieved one the year’s “biggest streaming weeks ever”.
