Watch Trailer For The Beatles’ New ‘Here Comes The Sun’ Video
The first-look trailer and launch of a Premiere Watch page precede a global premiere event for the full video.
The trailer for a brand new official music video has been launched for The Beatles’ ‘Here Comes The Sun.’ The beloved George Harrison composition is, of course, from the Abbey Road album, which is released in a series of 50th anniversary deluxe editions on Friday (27).
Today sees the appearance of the first-look trailer and the launch of a Premiere Watch page for the new film. On Thursday (26), the 50th anniversary of the first release of the Abbey Road album in 1969 will be marked by a global premiere event for the full video, hosted across the official YouTube channels for The Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

The video will premiere on 26 September at 9:02am PDT/12:02pm EDT/5:02pm BST. Fans will be able to tune in one hour ahead for an engaging 60-minute countdown to the premiere. See details here on how to be featured in the premiere.
The new ‘Here Comes The Sun’ film welcomes the viewer into Abbey Road Studios’ celebrated Studio Two, where The Beatles recorded most of the Abbey Road album. Viewers will experience a unique, moving sunrise taking place above the band’s instruments and gear.
The video is directed by Trunk Animation’s director team Alasdair + Jock (Alasdair Brotherston and Jock Mooney) and produced by Trunk’s Maria Manton, who worked closely with Apple Corps Ltd. The sun centrepiece was filmed as it was meticulously crafted on-set in Studio Two, in a video that features photographs from the Apple Corps archive, as well as images and footage shot by Linda McCartney and supplied by Paul McCartney.
The anniversary editions of Abbey Road, released by Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol/UMe, will feature the album’s 17 tracks newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell in stereo, 5.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos. They’re newly augmented by 23 session recordings and demos, most of them previously unissued. The music video for ‘Here Comes The Sun’ features the new stereo mix for the song.
