Eminem Pays Tribute To Juice Wrld In Surreal ‘Godzilla’ Video

Eminem dropped the latest visual from his Music to Be Murdered By album, for the song ‘Godzilla’ featuring cameos by Dr Dre and Mike Tyson.
The Cole Bennett-directed video features every kind of cinematic special effect, including you guessed it, a few Godzilla monsters following Slim Shady down the aisles of a Costco-like superstore.
Bennett (who also helmed Juice Wrld’s ‘Lucid Dreams’, is the perfect match for Em, making every lyrical reference come to life, as Eminem’s eyeballs turn comically large, or has him spitting fire and chasing his own disembodied mouth around a room.
The video also features some hilarious cameos, as Eminem’s rapid-fire flow stops abruptly when he gets punched out by famed boxer Mike Tyson. When he comes to the hospital, he’s revived by Dr Dre, dressed as a surgeon.

“I can swallow a bottle of alcohol and I’ll feel like Godzilla,” he raps.
Toward the end of the video, there is a short audio clip with the late rapper Juice Wrld, who jumped on the track with Eminem before his tragic death on 8 December 2019 at the age of 21.
As Juice shares encouraging words about chasing your dream, a message flashes across the screen:
“You will be loved forever, you will be here forever, thank you for changing the world.”
Prior to releasing the official video, Eminem asked his fans to participate in the ‘Godzilla Challenge’, to see if they could match his insanely fast 224-word, 31-second long verse from the track.
Since dropping his surprise release album, Music to Be Murdered By, in January, the album became Eminem’s 10th consecutive No. 1 album.
The rapper also had a few more surprises up his sleeve after giving a surprise performance of his Academy-Award-winning song ‘Lose Yourself’ at the Oscars this year, 17 years after he won the award.
