The museum will also offer weekly slideshows from past exhibits, launching every Friday. This month, visitors to the site can explore “The British Invasion: How 1960s Beat Groups Conquered America”, launching 5 June. Relics include The Beach Boys’ handwritten “God Only Knows” lyrics, dresses from The Supremes and James Brown’s jumpsuit. “Pride & Joy: The Texas Blues of Stevie Ray Vaughan” will follow on 12 June, while “Monterey International Pop Festival: Music, Love and Flowers, 1967” will be added on the 19th. The month will conclude with “Count Basie: The King of Swing”.

Since the Los Angeles museum opened 12 years ago, they have presented over 900 public programmes in their 200-seat Clive Davis Theatre, including hundreds of intimate sit-down interviews. Archived programming, streaming every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, will also include the likes of Grouplove, Steep Canyon Rangers and Ruth B.

Educational content for children will also be available on the museum’s website, with new Grammy In The Schools Mini-Lessons. On 14 June, budding DJs of all ages can check out a tutorial from Dutch producer Sam Feldt.

In Adam Lambert news, the powerhouse singer recently released a new version of ‘We Are The Champions’ with Queen (entitled ‘You Are The Champions’). All proceeds from the Queen + Adam Lambert single goes to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization to support frontline health workers.
