Def Leppard Collect 2015-2023 Complete Recordings
A new collection, ‘Def Leppard – Volume Four,’ collects the group’s complete 2015-2023 recordings.
A new collection will bring together Def Leppard’s complete recorded output from 2015–2023. Def Leppard – Volume Four features 2015’s Def Leppard, 2022’s Diamond Star Halos, and 2023’s Drastic Symphonies, plus five LPs of Joe Elliott-curated demos, live recordings, alternate mixes and collaborations.
The collection will be available as an 11-LP box set on 180g vinyl, as well as a 6-CD box set. It will be housed in a rigid slipcase with a hardback book featuring Ross Halfin photography, new band interviews and liner notes by Paul Elliott.
Def Leppard – Volume Four features previously unreleased tracks and many making their debut in a physical medium. Highlights include The Lost Sessions, rare demos and new 2026 mixes of “Personal Jesus” and “Heroes.”
Def Leppard was the band’s first album since 2008’s Songs From The Sparkle Lounge. “Anywhere we looked, it seemed like everybody kept saying the album is dead,” vocalist Joe Elliott recalled for DefLeppard.com. “It’s like the emperor’s new clothes, you start believing it. So, [with Def Leppard], we didn’t set out to make a full album, it just started to come together so naturally, and we were in such a great place. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed making a record as much as I’ve enjoyed making this one.”
Diamond Star Halos is composed of 15 tracks including the stadium-ready singles “Kick” and “Fire It Up.” Alison Krauss contributes guest vocals on “This Guitar” and “Lifeless.” The album title references T. Rex’s “Bang a Gong (Get It On),” and the songs are filled with nods to T.Rex, David Bowie, and Mott The Hoople..
Drastic Symphonies sees Def Leppard’s biggest songs deconstructed and rebuilt with the majestic accompaniment of London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, this bold new approach includes at least one song from nearly all of their previous studio albums.
Def Leppard’s recently expanded their 2026 tour, announcing new dates in Mexico and South America throughout October and November, with support from Extreme. Last year, Def Leppard were honored with the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
