MPH recently previewed Here, Forever with the advance track “Mirage.” Available now to stream or purchase, the uptempo Skrillex collaboration cranks up the energy and tempo to a breathtaking extent, setting the tone for an album that rarely slows down. Born Myles Fairbairn, he was not messing around when he chose his creative alias.

MPH wrote most of the new project during the mundane in-between moments on a jam-packed four-month tour last year. Bus rides, flights, departure gates, and downtime at venues became chances to create rather than waste the hours away. “If I’m on a plane or delayed, there’s all this free time where I’d just be sitting there doomscrolling on TikTok. I may as well put it to good use,” MPH says. The last element in the album’s creation process was the title. “I really liked Forever because it felt bold,” MPH says, “but then Here, Forever is just, like, you’re always within that high-energy moment.”

He’ll be back on the road for more relentless touring this fall. After playing the CRSSD Festival in San Diego on Sept. 26, MPH will embark on the biggest headline shows of his career so far. In North America, that begins with an Oct. 2 stop at REALM in Portland, OR. Other noteworthy stops including the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Nov. 14, and Black Creek Assembly in Toronto on Nov. 27, and the Knockdown Center in New York City on Nov. 28.
