KISS Share Official ‘I Want You’ Video
The archival clip has made its official YouTube debut as the band celebrates 50 years of ‘Rock And Roll Over.’
KISS have shared an official video for “I Want You.” Originally filmed in 1976, it’s now making its official YouTube debut.
The newly released clip arrives as KISS continue to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their landmark 1976 album Rock And Roll Over. The band’s fifth studio album, which followed the blockbuster success of Destroyer earlier that year, featured KISS favorites as “Calling Dr. Love,” “Hard Luck Woman,” “Take Me,” and “I Want You.”

The archival footage captures KISS during a pivotal period in their rise. By 1976, the band’s theatrical live performances and instantly recognizable stage personas had helped transform them into one of rock’s biggest attractions, while Rock And Roll Over further established their place at the center of the decade’s hard-rock landscape.
The new video arrives alongside an extensive 50th anniversary campaign for Rock And Roll Over. Due November 6, the massive reissue will feature new mixes by original producer and engineer Eddie Kramer, previously unheard demos, live recordings, and additional collectibles.
It will be available on 1LP and 1CD formats, packaged in a brand-new 50th anniversary rendering of the original album cover. A limited edition premium explosive color vinyl pressing is packaged in a first-ever foil laminate and embossed jacket with metallic gold ink details, along with a original printed sleeve with 50th anniversary metallic gold ink printing and a brand-new 20-inch x 30-inch poster.
For KISS mega fans, there will also be a Super Deluxe Edition boxset available, showcasing a 4CD and Blu-ray Audio experience including 130 total tracks with 100 tracks and previously unreleased mixes. It’ll also feature an extensive assortment of bonus Kollectibles including a Rock And Roll Over 1976 Press Kit and a 104-page hardcover book featuring extensive liner notes by Ken Sharp from brand-new interviews with the band and many others.
KISS continues to revisit their storied and extensive history. In August, the band celebrated the 30th anniversary of You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best!! with various vinyl formats. Originally released in 1996, when Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss reunited, the album gathers selections from the acclaimed live albums Alive! (1975) and Alive II (1977).
And in June, they commemorated the 50th anniversary of a seminal concert with the KISS Destroys Anaheim ’76 collection. It marked the year when they performed in front of over 42,000 fans at California’s Anaheim Stadium in California (the then-rising band’s largest audience to date).
