The song accompanies Galadriel and Celeborn’s story in the series’ third season.
Norwegian alt-pop artist AURORA and composer Bear McCreary have released “Morning Shall Come,” a new song written for the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The track accompanies the story of Galadriel and Celeborn, portrayed in the series by Morfydd Clark and Jamie Campbell Bower.

McCreary and AURORA wrote the song, with lyrics by McCreary and series showrunner J.D. Payne. A performance video featuring the pair will premiere November 9 exclusively on Amazon Music, then arrive on AURORA’s YouTube channel. Filmed between Sky Studios in London and the treetops of Rivendell, the video presents the song as a performance.
AURORA said Tolkien’s books had been part of her life since childhood. “Being a part of this ancient story is such an honour,” she said. “To shed light on the good behind any evil, and the evil behind any good. Working with the team, and Bear on this has been an adventure in itself. I am very very grateful!”
The complete season soundtrack is due November 13 on digital and streaming platforms, with an expanded digital collector’s edition planned for a later date. Its 22 tracks include “Morning Shall Come,” “Celeborn,” and “Where the Shadows Lie (for Children’s Choir).” The album also features performances by The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices, Finland’s Mieskuoro Huutajat, Jens Kidman of Meshuggah, and cast members Sophia Nomvete and Clark. McCreary’s score draws on choirs, folk instruments, and Tolkien’s fictional languages.
