The awards show aired live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to a crowd full of masked-up music fans on Thursday night.

‘This mixtape was a pivotal moment for me,’ Aiko says.
Originally released in 2011, the mixtape was a critical success and featured guest vocals from the likes of Miguel, Drake, Gucci Mane, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar among others.
The event takes place on Sunday, March 14, at 12:00 p.m. PT, and will be streamed live internationally via Grammy.com.
‘Lead the Way’ was written and performed by the Grammy-nominated artist.
The event will also have special appearances by Carole King, Jonas Brothers, Lionel Richie, Mick Fleetwood, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and Shakira.
The audio-visual special will be part of iHeartMedia’s extensive Black History Month celebrations.
The Grammy-nominated singer performed the tracks by fireside at home.
The duo recreates scenes from ‘The Best Man,’ ‘Waiting to Exhale’ and more with the help of Ty Dolla $ign.
The song comes off Aiko’s Grammy-nominated album, ‘Chilombo.’
‘Chilombo’ is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
