Finding inspiration from Dodo Greene’s 1962 rendition, the British jazz-soul singer recorded the standard for ‘Blue Note Re:imagined.’
Taylor remembered 'As Easy As Rolling Off A Log' from his childhood, and its appearance in the Merrie Melodies cartoon 'Katnip Kollege.'
The album features Taylor's interpretations of 14 classic American songs such as 'My Blue Heaven,' 'Almost Like Being In Love' and 'The Nearness of You.'
'From Hello Dolly To Goodbye Charlie' took its snappy title from the versions of those songs that bookended the great singer's 1964 album.
The 1968 album 'Dusty...Definitely' was the first to be co-produced by the singer herself.
