“Blue Note at 75, The Concert” from The Kennedy Center

On Sunday evening (11 May) at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. there was an all star concert to celebrate 75 years of Blue Note Records. Now thanks to National Public Radio in America when can all enjoy the concert because they recorded it and have made it available on their web site (Blue Note at 75, The Concert). Among the artists that appeared and can be heard are Wayne Shorter, Robert Glasper, Norah Jones, Jason Moran, Lou Donaldson, Dianne Reeves, Terence Blanchard, Joe Lovano, Bobby Hutcherson and Dr. Lonnie Smith (featured in our photo).
