As the popularity of country music builds to ever-higher levels in Europe, C2C 2014 was a resounding success, with 50,000 fans packing The 02 Arena in London and the Dublin 3Arena. Brad Paisley, the Band Perry, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride and the Dixie Chicks were among the artists on the bill.
Next year’s event promises to be bigger than ever, with a Saturday, March 7 bill featuring Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Brandy Clark. That bill then performs in Dublin the following night, when the Irish event’s Saturday bill moves on to London, with Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert (who played at C2C 2013) and Kip Moore.
For the first time next year, C2C will head even further into the European market, with events at the Ericsson Globe in Sweden and Oslo Spektrum Arena, Norway, on Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1. As in previous years, The 02 Arena in London will also play host to more than 20 up-and-coming country-inspired local artists on free, pop-up stages in the arena complex. The Town Square area will once again offer food, drink, clothing and merchandise stands.
