Def Leppard have released a video for their new festive single We All Need Christmas. The track first came to light back in October, with Joe Elliott, Rick Allen, Rick Savage, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell asking fans last month to submit videos of themselves singing along to the song for inclusion in the video and you can now see the results for yourself above here.

‘We All Need Christmas’ is featured on Def Leppard’s brand new greatest-hits collection titled The Story So Far – The Best Of, which was released on 30 November. It is available in multiple configurations: a 2-CD set comprised of 35 tracks, 1-CD set comprised of 17 tracks, 2-LP vinyl, and digital. Among a blockbuster tracklisting loaded with timeless smashes, all four versions feature three new songs, including ‘We All Need Christmas’, ‘Personal Jesus’ and ‘Rock On (Remix)’. As a bonus for collectors, the first-pressing vinyl copies of The Story So Far feature an exclusive seven-inch single of ‘Personal Jesus’ and We All Need Christmas.

Elsewhere in Def Leppard news, uDiscover Music previously reported that the legendary Sheffield quintet would be inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2019 along with The Cure, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, The Zombies and Janet Jackson.

Reacting to the news, frontman Joe Elliott said: “A massive thanks to all our fans and past inductees who voted for us. Congratulations to all our fellow inductees. We stand alongside some amazing artists, past and present. What an absolute honour.”

Bassist Rick Savage added: “Being inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame puts Def Leppard in a class of peers that we’ve always appreciated and admired. We’re looking forward to the ceremony.”

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony itself will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on 29 March 29. The current line-up will be inducted, along with late guitarist Steve Clark and the band’s original guitarist Pete Willis.
