2024 is sure to be another big year for J Balvin, and he’s heading into March with a brand new single, “Triple S.” He’s not doing it alone either — the superstar has recruited De La Ghetto and Jowell & Randy to join him on the reggaeton track produced by Tainy and Subelo Neo.

The song’s title is an abbreviation for “Suelta, Soltera, Sin Nadie Que La Joda” which loosely translates to “Single, Strong and Not to Be Messed With” in English. His team shares that the song is meant to “celebrate the fierce determination and unwavering resilience of strong women everywhere.”

The music video that accompanies the track captures the title’s spirit. The video follows a female mafia leader and her entourage of trusted henchmen. We see heads of rival mafias arrive at her lavish mansion for a meeting while her male confidants, including Balvin & Co., carry out her master plan to eliminate the competition. The video was directed by Patricia Alfonso and Chris Cabrera and produced by Eat My Shorts. It was filmed at renowned Miami architect Charles Sieger’s luxurious estate, Chateau Artisan.

April will be another big month for the Latin superstar, featuring main stage sets at Coachella and the beginning of his “Que Bueono Volver a Verte” European and U.K. headlining tour. The tour kicks off April 26th in Frankfurt, Germany and will visit cities including Milan, Vienna, Copenhagen, Paris, Madrid, and many more before concluding on June 5th in London. More information about the tour can be found at jbalvin.com.

Last month, the singer teamed up with fellow Colombian artist Maluma for their second collaboration, “Gafas Negras,” following their 2019 hit, “Qué pena.” The track’s music video ends with Balvin congratulating Maluma on his success. “I wanted to congratulate you. I’m so proud of what you’ve done. Proud of you because you’re hard, you’ve never stopped, you push forward, and you’ve become like my little brother.”
