James Taylor and Jackson Browne have announced their rescheduled tour dates. While the two legendary singer-songwriters were initially slated to play across the US last summer, their plans quickly changed, amid the ongoing pandemic. The extensive run kicks off July 29 at Chicago’s United Center and wraps up November 1 at San Diego’s Pechanga Arena.

According to Taylor’s website, all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the same city and/or venue on the dates listed. Ticketholders are encouraged to contact their point of purchase for refunds if they are no longer able to attend. Click here for tickets and scroll down to view all rescheduled dates.

“Jackson and I want to thank all those who have graciously held onto their tickets,” said Taylor in a statement. “We appreciate your continued patience as we navigate these unchartered waters. We didn’t want to have to cancel this tour that we’ve been waiting so long to perform together, so we’ve been working to get these dates rescheduled to a time period when the U.S. is reopened and safe to gather for a concert.”

He added, “Of course we will be keeping a close eye and abide with all health and safety protocols throughout each venue and state. We can’t wait to get back on stage and see you out there soon.”

Fans in Canada can also look forward to catching Taylor on tour with Bonnie Raitt this fall. Their dates are currently scheduled to begin September 12 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Taylor, who released American Standard, last year, is fresh off his Grammy win for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. In addition to marking Taylor’s sixth Grammy Award, the triumph secured him as the third artist in Grammy history to win in both the Pop Vocal Album (for 1997’s Hourglass) and Traditional Pop Vocal categories, following Lady Gaga and Joni Mitchell.
