Vans has partnered with rock and roll icons Led Zeppelin to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band’s self-titled debut album. The Vans x Led Zeppelin long-sleeve tee kicks off the collection to showcase the original album artwork, which carries over to an adjustable trucker hat. The Era features the band members’ individual symbols arranged across a premium leather construction with white tonal Led Zeppelin and corresponding symbols printed on the sidewall.

Vans’s Sk8-Hi utilizes suede and canvas uppers to showcase the Led Zeppelin album art printed with silver metallic hits on the quarter panel. The Sk8-Hi is complete with a black leather Side stripe, black tonal laces and a tonal alphabet printed sidewall. Led Zeppelin fans can unveil each of the band members’ symbols on the woven label on the internal tongue. The Era and Sk8-Hi will each be sold with a special Vans x Led Zeppelin custom shoebox.

The Vans x Led Zeppelin collection will be available for a limited time with the collection on-sale in select Vans retail stores, wholesale locations and online, beginning on 22 February.

The band last performed in December 2007 in London with drummer Jason Bonham filling in for his late father John Bonham.

Elsewhere in Led Zeppelin news, as uDiscover Music previously reported, to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary as well as Jimmy Page’s illustrious career as a guitar icon, Fender Guitars will release a line of four signature Telecaster guitars in 2019. Of the four models, two will be made available as production lines, and two are produced by the Fender Custom Shop – dubbed the “Limited Edition Jimmy Page Telecaster Set”.

The design reveal arrived in tandem with the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin I (January 12, 1969), on which Page played his famed “Dragon” Telecaster, bringing to life some of rock’s most iconic anthems. Two models will be produced in the Fender Custom Shop – dubbed the “Limited Edition Jimmy Page Telecaster Set”; the set will be available at select authorized showcase dealers globally, beginning March 2019. Additionally, two models will be made on Fender’s production lines, and released in Spring/Summer 2019 – giving fans and collectors the chance to own a piece of history.
