Meeting demand from fans in every corner of the globe, three-time GRAMMY Award-winning diamond-selling band Maroon 5 have expanded their World Tour 2022 with three Middle East shows.

In over two decades together, this notably marks the group’s first-ever full-scale regional tour of the Middle East. The shows are produced in partnership with Live Nation Israel, Live Nation Middle East, and Nacelle Events.

Touching down in Egypt, Maroon 5 will deliver what promises to be an unforgettable performance on hallowed ground Live At The Pyramids in Giza on May 3. Next up, they travel to Abu Dhabi, UAE on May 6 to headline the recently opened state-of-the-art Etihad Arena. Finally, the band heads to Tel Aviv, Israel to close out this run on May 9 at Hayarkon Park.

Making history, these will be the nation’s first massive concerts hosted at full capacity. Maroon 5 have notably performed in the UAE in 2008, 2011, and 2019. Those shows “rank among the fastest-selling shows in the UAE.”

This run speaks to the group’s sustained global impact as an international pop music force and is the first time a major western artist is playing a regional tour in the Middle East, solidifying the region’s emergence as a touring market with routed plays.

The news comes shortly after “Girls Like You” from their 2017 album Red Pill Blues was certified Diamond for moving more than 10 million copies in the U.S.

Upon release in 2019, Maroon 5’s smash hit featuring Cardi B caught a lot of attention for its cameo-filled nature, featuring the likes of Camila Cabello, Ellen DeGeneres, Gal Gadot, Jennifer Lopez, Behati Prinsloo and more. However, not only did the song skyrocket in popularity (reaching No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100), so did the video. In less than 10 months, the music video surpassed 2 billion YouTube views. The video now has a staggering 3.2 billion views.
