Olivia Rodrigo To Release Bonus ‘GUTS’ Songs On Black Friday Vinyl
The new release will arrive on November 24.
Olivia Rodrigo is set to share all four of her “secret” GUTS songs on a single record. The pop superstar took to social media to announce that her upcoming special vinyl for Record Store Day’s Black Friday celebrations will include four “secret tracks” that aren’t available on streaming platforms.
The “drivers license” star originally released four different versions of GUTS, each of which included one “secret” track. The new vinyl will include all four tracks for the first time. Rodrigo teamed with Jack White’s Third Man Records to press the four songs: “Obsessed,” “Scared of My Guitar,” “Stranger,” and “Girl I’ve Always Been.” Check out Rodrigo’s post here.
Earlier this week, Olivia offered up a scintillating performance of her hit single “deja vu.” She performed the song for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge from the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.
During that performance, Olivia also played songs from across her discography, in addition to Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season.” Rodrigo performed cuts from GUTS and SOUR, including “Vampire,” “Drivers License,” and “Get Him Back!” Check out the rest of the session here.
In other Rodrigo news, on September 29 at the Bluebird Café in Nashville, the superstar was joined by Sheryl Crow, and the pair performed Crow’s 1996 anthem, “If It Makes You Happy.”
Posting about the performance on her Instagram, Rodrigo wrote, “pinch me! sang one of my favorite songs of all time with the greatest of all time. what an honor!!!!”
Last month, Rodrigo announced her highly anticipated GUTS world tour in support of her second studio album, GUTS, which was released September 8 via Geffen Records to critical acclaim.
Produced by Live Nation, the massive global 2024 tour kicks off its 75-date run on Friday, February 23 in Palm Springs, CA at Acrisure Arena, with stops across North America and Europe, including Miami, Toronto, New York, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and many more before wrapping up with back-to-back shows on Tuesday, August 13 and Wednesday, August 14 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The Breeders, PinkPantheress, Chappell Roan, and Remi Wolf will join on select dates across the tour.
