Peter Frampton Finale The Farewell Tour

British guitar legend Peter Frampton is the latest legacy act to announce that his upcoming tour will be his last.

The ‘Peter Frampton Finale Tour’ kicks off on 18 June at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma and wraps up on 12 October in San Francisco at the Concord Pavilion. The US tour will also feature Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening as the supporting act for the majority of the dates.

Other special guests include his son Julian Frampton, a talented guitarist in his own right, who will support the tour during the West Coast stops.

Tickets are set to go on sale 1 March at his official artist site, and Frampton will be making an appearance on CBS This Morning tomorrow (23 February) to discuss the tour and his future plans.

As one of the most iconic live acts of the 21st century, Frampton’s 1976 live album Frampton Comes Alive! hit No.1 on the album charts and spawned the massive hit singles ‘Show Me the Way’, ‘Baby, I Love Your Way’ and ‘Do You Feel Like We Do’.

In 2011, he re-released Frampton Comes Alive! as a deluxe edition and played the album in its entirety on a supporting tour.
