The Lumineers have announced a 2020 headlining North American tour in support of their upcoming album III, set for release on 13 September.

The beloved folk-rock outfit will play at over 30 arenas and amphitheatres across the US and Canada. Their tour kicks off on 1 February in Asheville, North Carolina and wraps up on 12 June in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

Tickets are set to go on sale Friday, 16 August via The Lumineers’ website. Additionally, the band has partnered with CID Entertainment to offer fans the opportunity to access premium concert tickets, exclusive merchandise and pre-show access starting 12 August.

Emerging indie-rock band Mt Joy will be the opening act for the band during several of their scheduled tour dates as well. Along with their tour announcement, the band also announced a new single will be arriving this Friday, along with an official video for ‘Leader of the Landslide’ on Monday, 5 August.

‘Leader of the Landslide’ follows the previously released tracks, ‘It Wasn’t Easy to Be Happy for You’ and ‘Gloria’, off their forthcoming album.

The Lumineers have been keeping busy this summer, headlining numerous festivals including Bonnaroo, Hangout Festival, Fuji Rock and Splendour in the Grass, among others. They’re also scheduled to perform at the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal this weekend, as well as Outside Lands in San Francisco.
