uDiscover Music were in attenadance at the 2019 Life is Beautiful festival, in Downtown Las Vegas. As well as enjoying the fantastic art, food and incredible line up of artists, we interviewed a range of the performers at 11th Street Records, generously hosted by owner Ronald and his dog Big Steve. You can watch the appetite-whetting highlights reel below and don’t forget to check back soon for full-length interviews with Jonas Blue, Polo & Pan, Ryland James, Gryffin and more.
We were also lucky enough to have Cub Sport and Ryland James perform acoustic sessions in the 11th Street Studio, which we will shortly be presenting and are most definitely not to be missed. Additionally, Life Is Beautiful introduced us to Sophia and Uys, cast members from Cirque Du Soleil’s incredible The Beatles LOVE show, to find out what goes into making one of the strip’s most exhilarating and enduring shows.
Elsewhere, in celebration of The Beatles’ legendary final studio album Abbey Road’s 50th anniversary visitors to the store were able to recreate the iconic cover and speak to uDiscover Music about what makes the album so timeless and appealing to all generations of music fans. If you dropped by at 11th Street, don’t forget to share your photos on the Abbey Road crossing or with Freddie around the site, and tag @uDiscoverMusic.
Now in its seventh year, the 2019 Life is Beautiful transformed downtown Las Vegas’ Freemont Street into an immersive oasis of music, culinary delights, comedy and art. Spanning 18 city blocks, the festival grounds felt like a world of its own. Reality and illusion blurred, but that’s par for the course in Las Vegas.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, the 2019 Life Is Beautiful event also proudly presented a diverse bill, with stars such as Billie Eilish, The Black Keys, Chance The Rapper, Lewis Capaldi, Post Malone, Carly Rae Jepsen and Of Monsters And Men just a sample of the talent on display.
