GRAMMY Award nominated, multi-platinum-selling artist Tove Lo has released the KENTEN-directed music video for “How Long.”

The psychedelic, kaleidoscopic video features Tove against a black backdrop, as multiple effects distort and double her image.

The track was hailed by MTV as “ecstasy to the ears,” with Billboard lauding it “a welcome distraction” and Uproxx praising the “honest lyrics about love, betrayal and denial.”

Speaking about the collaboration, Tove Lo reveals, “‘How Long’ is about love, betrayal and denial. It was one of the few songs that came together for me during quarantine, and I think it’s so beautiful in all its darkness.”

The song is featured on the forthcoming album, Euphoria Season 2 (An HBO Original Series Soundtrack), set for release on February 25 via Interscope Records, in partnership with HBO.

The upcoming album will feature exclusive tracks designed to set the mood for new episodes of the Emmy-winning HBO drama series Euphoria. “How Long” was included in the episode from January 30. It’s the second single taken from the project, following the release of Lana Del Rey’s “Watercolor Eyes” last week.

Lo’s last release came in 2020 with the expanded edition of her Sunshine Kitty album. The 22-track “Paw Prints Edition” featured the record’s original 14 songs, plus nine additional pieces, including the single “sadder badder cooler” and two singles produced by FINNEAS in “Bikini Porn” and “Passion And Pain Taste The Same When I’m Weak.”

In the same year, the Grammy-nominated artist teamed up with dancehall icon Sean Paul on the collaborative single “Calling On Me.” “‘Calling On Me’ is a dope song reflecting on the real side of love,” Paul said at the time. “If you love someone, the energy doesn’t ever change. They are able to call on you at all times, I’m proud to have such an amazing vocalist like Tove Lo be on the track with me.”
