Lil Baby Returns With Ice Cold New Single ‘Frozen’
It’s the Atlanta rapper’s third release this month
Lil Baby has returned with his third single of April 2022, an ice cold new track “Frozen.”
The new release follows the songs “Right On” and “In A Minute,” both of which crashed into the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“Can someone come unthaw my heart, I think it’s frozen,” Lil Baby sings in “Frozen”’s introduction, before showing gratitude for his experiences in life so far and muses on the trials and tribulations of being one of rap’s elite. “Glad that I been through a lot, it made me a monster,” he raps on the chorus.
Like his two prior singles, “Frozen” features no guest appearances, the Grammy-winning artist providing a stern reminder that aside from being one of hip hop’s most coveted features, Lil Baby is just as strong a force on his own.

April has been a busy month for the acclaimed rapper. As well as dishing out a bevvy of tracks, the star lit up Coachella’s main stage across the festival’s two weekends with a fiery performance and was triumphant at the 2022 Grammys in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, “Right On” and “In A Minute” saw Lil Baby rack up an impressive accolade on the US charts, taking him to 100 songs that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100. He joined an elite group of artists who have managed the feat, including Drake (who has 260 entries on the chart), Glee (207), Lil Wayne (180), Taylor Swift (166), Kanye West (135), Future (132), Nicki Minaj (123), Elvis Presley (109), Chris Brown (107), Jay-Z (104), and Justin Bieber (103).
His 2020 album My Turn has also broken the record for most weeks inside the Top 10 of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart when it surpassed 85 weeks in the upper echelons of the list. The previous record-holder was Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, which racked up 84 weeks in the Top 10 between 2019 and 2021.
